Chrissy Hogue Bartels is an actor, producer, and director with over 40 years of experience across film, television, and theatre. She recently booked her co-star role on NBC's Chicago P.D. on only her second-ever television audition, and has since built a career that spans series regular roles, guest star work, and award-winning independent film.
In 2026 alone, Chrissy won Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Painter, Best Supporting Actress for A Swan's Song, and Best Short Film and Best Director for Another Good Day, a project she co-directed, wrote, and starred in. She has produced three short films and produced, directed, and starred in a full stage production of The Vagina Monologues.
Her theatre roots run deep. Chrissy starred in the Pulitzer Prize-nominated, sold-out Off-Broadway one-woman show The Stupid Economy, written and commissioned specifically for her, and has originated lead roles including Medea and Petruchio.
Chrissy holds an MFA in Film and TV from Regent University and a BA in Acting and Dance from Franklin Pierce University. Her special skills include horseback riding, weapons handling with handguns, rifles, semi-automatic firearms and bows, hiking, mountain and rock climbing, and fishing.
